Who are we?

About us

The watchman arise is a prayer movement inspired by the Holy Ghost, it was conceived in the womb of prayer during a time of personal devotion with the Lord. There is sound of reconciliation where God is calling his people back to the foundation of truth, and prayer is the first alter to correctly build upon using the tools of the word of God, hence the
fundamental focus of the camp is teaching. In Luke 11:13 the disciples went to Jesus asking him to teach them prayer. Through these camps the Lord is reviving first our prayer life; he is restoring hunger for prayer and accuracy in prayer,

James 4:3 speaks about wrong prayers meaning that prayer is more of a life lived than words uttered. We have had successful camps in Johannesburg, Limpopo and North West .The aim is to grow the movement and ignite prayer in various provinces of South Africa with the ultimate goal of touching nations.

Watchman Arise stands in intercession for our nation and calls kingdom citizens to come stand on the post of prayer. The movement aims to raise a generation that will
ascend the hill of the Lord by pursuing clean hands and a pure heart.

Watchman Arise is not a congregational movement and thus open to anyone from anywhere with a burden for prayer.

What do we do?

Watchman Arise Prayer and Fasting Camp is a conglomeration of intercessory prayer, worship
and sound teaching on prayer taking place during an indoor three-day fast. During the course of the fasting and prayer, services will be held. These comprise of teachings, preaching, preludes, corporate prayers, prophecies, prophetic exercises and worship.

The fast ends on the morning
of the third day where we share a corporate meal ending around 08h00 am. This takes place
early in the morning so as to release everyone to return to their respective homes and local
churches.

We want to extend a hand of fellowship with us in prayer to help us wage a good war in prayer
for our nation.
